Well had a few hours out today as all the weather stations said sunny with light sw wind and a smooth to slight sea.....mmmrrr yer right lol

Anyway stopped off just outside the piers for 15mins for a few mackerel, not a single one so moved off to a 4 mile wreck and ended up landing them in 5s so after 10mins i had what i needed for the day.

The sea was slight to mod and the wind was blowing a hoolie but still tried a few wrecks, ended up with 4 codling best 6lb and 1 ling of about 5lb, along with 8 whiting and 1 scottie.

The drift was never under 1.8k but still nice to be at sea for a few hours.

Had a great 30mins feeding the young Ganetts full mackerel.

Until the weekend :)

Had the same out at Amble today fast drift with the weather forecast wrong again. Very poor season weather and fish wise so much for the heatwave....
