Stingray 2/7/11 well done, 3 new PB

I wish it had of stayed abit longer so we could of got a pic.

I never thought i would say this but i am fished out and even if it was 0mph wind and smooth sea i would not be out on Sunday..i am goosed....must of been from being that close to Boro all the fresh air :)
 
cracking day rich thank you. Up until last year i had 0 double cod, had one last year in the comp and today had 5 for a total of 70lb. The rig i was using was an absolute killer today - now what is my ebay account number.

Thanks again and it was great to meet dave and cant believe the number of doubles that we lost also.

Wow, it looks magic out there Rich, and well done on such a haul of doubles to you and the crew. Like Norman, you must have covered some miles. What a year for fishing this is turning out to be, long may it continue.:rolleyes::D:D

:) Yer its this years new toy for the boat, only a camping stove but its geat for cuppa's early season and bit food to keep the strengh up for twin tailing and pirking, all but 1 double was caught on twin tails that day.

I really wish we had got a pic, i thought Minki whales not much bigger than Dolphins? this whale was as least 3 times as thick across its back as a adult Dolphin.

I had a off day, still landed 22 cod and ling but could nto get into te doubles, leaving half my tackle at home never helped mind :)

I'm surprised you didn't fasten a treble hook to one of those sausages right shape and colour:D:D
 
No chance of that, they never got a chance to get well cooked before being chucked in a bun and eaten..the fish seemed to love the twin tails to much to use anything else....good job i never left all but 1 of mine at home err :(

Cant remember the bum bit but the hotdog slipped down well. MMMMM

J, yes I do have to read to be careful, and often re-write to suit :) take this weekends post with the picture of Tony asleep on the pontoons ..... just imagine the goofs I could of made (and nearly did) about "wearing the cabin boy out", "giving hime too much", "on his back again" etc etc :) :) :) still, all in a days posting ...... :D

I do love it how threads can change so quick into god knows what :)

I am now glad i never posted more about that whale i.e we had a nice hump in the water :)
