Well as stated the other day took the family out for a bahs on the sand banks today, main aim was for me to mess about with the electronics and let them catch a few fish.

What a fantastic day weather wise with the sun out all day, 0mph yes 0mph out at sea not a breeze and a lake pond to drift on...was wishing i was fishing the wrecks lol.

Anyway ended up with 100s of mackerel, about 60 whiting, pouting, few coalie, 2 plaice, 4 dab, 1 codling and the nice suprise was a canny ling on daylights over sand lol.

Everything apart from 6 mackerel chucked back alive, never wnet more than 1 mile off but the water was brown, still lots of fish in it thou.

Seen a bit of a sick sight, dont know what you call it, black/brown bird seagull size. plucked a young gull out the air and rippe dit to bits, the screams where err for the family.

Anyway nice day weather and a change from being snagge don the wrecks, only lost 1 set all day lol

Lol yer had too Alan, little ones not over happy of me killing the 6 for bait never mind a pile for yourself.

Hoping to make it out Sat with insano if weather holds.

Will be popping out Friday also if winds drop am
