Stopper Knot for bait

There's a particular knot that I've seen on ready made rigs that have a sequin below it in order to prevent the bait fleeing up the snood...

I use telephone/alarm wire. Cut a piece of wire about 4 inches long get a grip wire and wrap tel wire round grip wire ( sounds like a lot of wire LOL ) so it coils, get your hook with trace fit sequin then tel wire tighten then its done. I hope this makes sence

Does that not put a big kink in the line if you move them?

It does when I use them, it must weaken the snood a bit as well

I do Peter but you're still putting a Knot in the hooklength which has goot to cause a weak point, normally use 20 - 30lb so hasn't caused a problem yet. Not going fishing much also helps lesson the chances of a breakage :red:
