strange going ons

well i had a carboot sale today at seaham and seen some strange going ons lol there was a boat about 2 or 3 mile off ryhope spraying water up in the air there was loads of it went on for 30 mins or so then stopped then about 1 hour later started again never seen this before our lass being from essex said it was cooling the sea down pmsl nearly slapped her anyone else see it i also saw 2 ministry boats flying all over checking pots nd nets etc lol

You sure it was'nt a whale mate..

I was at the boot sale Deano, only lasted 4 rows, it was too hot so went down the boat and took Mrs Jester 200 yards off the piers and she caught 7 mackerel. Her first time out .....And last...... Was a nasty southerly chop on.

aye alot of people said it was a struggle to walk around the burger van sold 2000 bottles of water retailing at £1.50 a bottle and that was at 1pm lol i look like a boiled lobster and so does our lass lol did you manage to get the missus to do a bit pirking it was deffo a boat squirting out water my thoughts are it could be a fire boat for the rigs doing training

Yer we seen it, it was part of the Royal Navey task force that was all over the area today, the boat was a fire boat and used for ...yep you guessed it putting fires out on large ships and oil rig's etc.

Infact if you loo at my pics on todays catch report, the one with the two lads fishing you can see it in the back ground..a big white spray

Aye Deano, she had a 5oz pirk on with a 5 muppet rig, and got 7 mackerel in 3 drops. If you are out today, it looks spot on, it's 5.50 and i'm off to work ........I hate working........

I just got back after a 10hour sesh at sea will report late but

Very hot day at sea and got some great pic's of a massive pod of dolphins.

I it was a great day weather wise, only bad spell we had was the last 20mins oft he day when we had hail stone and a strong NE wind started...i will upload the pic's soon when i figure out how to get so many doubles in a pic at once.

i pick 19lb so if you double that its 38lb

i wish my best ever is 24lb and that was so long ago i cant even remember it with out the pic to aid me.

13 doubles this year so far and if that weather had not written of 6 weeks of the season maybe have more.

Heard some chatter from the pool boats, seem to be doing well also today
