Had a pop over on sunday to fish a mark south of Port Logan a guy who was already fishing the rocks was pulling in loads of smallish pollack to around 3lb so we got the spinning rods out and caught well over 30 pollack also losing two good ones in the kelp, tried some bottom fishing with the big rods but not a lot was biting , not even the humble doggy so instead had more decent sport with the ever obliging pollack, thoroughly enjoyed it.

Nice one mate, it doesn't really get any better than that.

We are over to Port Patrick in May and a couple of us are thinking about leaving the big rods at home.
