got up to craster at 5.45pm after an hours drive getting stuck behind the scone searchers sunday drivers angry.gif. set off allong the rocks and found a nice place to set up where i could have a nice seat. the sea state was not perfect and not what i was expecting but after the dive up i thought i would give it a shot. first cast and i wasn't waiting long for my first knock but the fish must have been playing chicken as nowt came of it. baited up againand again another good knock again nothing. i was getting a bit p***ed off when i had another bite and this time i caught myself a little coalie. this cheered me up so castin again and the next knock produced a nice 2lb red cod. i would have put it back but i have been promising to get my mate at the crem a fish for ages so it came home with me. to cut a long story short i took ten crab up with me and had a bite on with every one of them which was great fun even though i didn't catch ten fish.
i had one more small red cod which i put back it couldn't have been more than 1/2 lb.
