we,the famous four from bradford made our regular 200 mile round trip up to hartlepool and were grateful to find the pier gate open early sat morn, we fished from 2am until 7-30 am and had a good alround catch finn led the way with 14 whiting and a flattie, all bar two put back,shearsy landed 12 including a small cod which were all bar two whiteys, put back conga had 3 and myself 4 which were all safely returned to the deep,breakfast on the headland for those 3 and back in bradford for 10 oclock,I remained in the town on the lash, and then went down to the vic to watch pools reach the fa cup 2nd round, an excellent week end all round.
