posted on 25/1/2004 at 14:57My youngest fancied a spot of night fishing which we had'nt done for a while so we went to the South Gare (Adam could'nt make it) at 7.30 pm and fished until 5.30am. Canny night, I got 14 whiting, mostly undersized and Paul got 5 whiting, 1 dab and 1 small codling, mostly at low water with rag & lug being the most popular although we tried razor, mackerel and squid.
Weather was spot on - just a slight breeze and calm seas and we were the only 2 on the pier!!!! like a private fishing spot
