Me, Frain and Geoff (no relation to wonky bollock) fished. Excited and a bit confused by the mad tides we hit Cambois beach. The first time I hoyed out (canny cast for a man of my age / weight ratio with big boy bait on ) I looked down to tie the laces on my waders, realised that they didn't have laces, looked up and the sea had gone! We ran after it and caught up close to the coast of Norway. Fast forward to Blyth pier. The Faggot in the car park story I leave to J. Frain. Blyth pier, windy for a change, very rainy and no fishys. best parts were witnessing Geoffs crack off (yes I'm scraping the barrel) and waiting for someone elses Tilley lamp to go the journey cause theyd left it on a very vunerable place. Drove home for 20 mins in an Alnwick direction. John was going to have a bit of soup when he got home though so everythings git lovely. Oh and I got frostbite on my right forearm.
I'd do it all again tomorrow

could have been worse ell if the tide was coming in you could have looked down to see your laceless waders under water thats got to be one of the worst things about cambois its that flat the water just bogs off leaving you high and dry or wet depending on the tide,i always fish the ramp at the south end so you can walk out on the rocks next to the beach
