Subject: w/bay beach

Fished Panama Dip last night 2hrs down & 2 hrs up. on bottom of the tide caught nice sized whitie ( returned ) 10mins later nice codling 5lb 2 onz on rag & thin sliver of mackeral lad I was fishing with had 1 whitie & a codling 3 lb on rag , moderate sea slight sw wind water cloudy enjoyed every minute

Where is Panama Dip? Any idea why it is called that?

THANKS M8 . STRAIGHT OPPOSITE THE SPANISH CITY DOWN THE RAMP & LEFT W/BAY . ONLY REASON I CAN THINK OF STEVE IS THE CAFE THERE USED TO BE THE PANAMA CAFE . PERHAPS A LOCAL MEMBER CAN HELP WITH THAT QUESTION .

Steve, Its the area i fish when i fish the beach but i go right instead of left

Well done mell. I personally think thats the best area of the beach but to be honest never really tried to fish the middle and north end. Bad experiences of me losing leads when i was younger and couldn't cast!

nice one mel. i've always thought it was a good mark....very underated by most anglers i know, and i think it's called that because the cafe was called the panama.
