. As I still had four sorry looking lug left (which were already past it and certainly wouldn't keep another day). I decided (in desperation) to have one last chuck. I clipped a lead to my leader, tied a snood directly on the lead, and blasted it out. Pulled in a nice 2Lb 2oz. codling (not a monster I know, but it had me grinning all the way home
