Hi ppl thinking of heading to sugarsands but never fished there b4 where is best place and is it better flood or ebb state of tide? all advice appreciated

On my opinion i would fish it on a dieing sea on the ebb to low water but its renound for weeding up either side of the bay but the lefthandside is prob the better of the 2! Be careful of the swells rushin up the skeers on a big tide if unsure fish during the day to get bearings!

Depending on how big the sea is the first bay you cum to is the howdiman which is the same conditions low water but too big a tide itl empty out and its worse for weed there! The winning bag from last weeks comp was that area so theres plenty o fish knockin about! Howick haven is a gud chuck too and that just up from sugarsands!
