Sun26th middle docks

Fished middle docks this morning from 4.45am to 9.30am high tide 5.54am with me two sons
baits used bluey prawn lug rag
fish from the off small yts to prawn then decent sized one which was gut hooked so kept it
then few more yts to keep us busy
then from bout 8am the coalies came on the feed some good sized ones kept three as they were deep hooked returned the rest.
coalies took mainly bluey in total we had bout 17 fish between three of us nice little session son had one small tommy as well
crabs were out in force as well

all in all canny morning

cheers lads it was good little sess kept busy fished there last week over low water didnt do much fished here good few times now and high water is best time to fish in my experience


aye lollypop rod was well worth the cash mate done me well my first season back in sea fishing pulled 6lb in off blyth ne probs but next winter i will be using sk4 14ft as need stiffer rod

its a cracking little spot to fish mate thats all rubble off buildings and wood off jettys small fence to climb to gain access but never had any bother there off ne one and it all ways produces fish mainly yts and coalies odd flatty small coddies

good session there today with pop65 it will def produce cod when season starts again as very deep water cast 100yrds plus even deeper but short lob will put u in decent yts and of late some canny coalies. last session now until spinning.

cheers mate aye fished far left last week but was over low water not much doing will try again over high
