Catch22 left sunderland 8am with 10 anglers on board for hard ground fishing from the off we were pulling fish in cod 3llbs and undersize been returned but itwent quiet and we moved out. Then back in mid water but the fish were few and far between we headed south tinking things may be better on the ebb tide but was no better the odd fish here andthe odd one there we coved alot of ground for very few fish
LESS SAY THEY JUST DIDENT WANT TO PLAY BALL .but we endthe day with just 40 cod 3 to 4llbs afew good whitting 2 pollock .4llbs

Was a hard day Bill, I found it hard going in the heat & with only 3 hours sleep was feeling knacked the whole day. Still a great day afloat in good company and looking forward to the next one.:thumbup:
