Defo fella I was thing the exact same thing last nyt after this wind dies down a touch cud be worth a shot off one of the piers or rock marks . Unfortunately ive got no transport at the min so I wont be getting out.good look tho phill if u manage a sesh some where

Westerly winds at the min mate flatten the sea the winds swinging around back end off the week so should lift the sea. Should see a big sea Saturday maybe Sunday can only try

I never know where to go when the sea comes away. Normally just go on the piers and rivers so don't know the marks. Tried Seaham Hall beach last year but by the time we got there is was flat again and just a few whities getting caught. Any pointers to decent marks would be much appreciated.

The trouble is with the sea being flat for so long the first big sea always churns up all the weed that has grown and makes most marks unfishable.

Yea thats the only problem but with it being northerly winds few marks around whitburn that will be ok clutching at the winter straws lol

been ages since the sea has been flat for this long.

am predicting codling in numbers, should be loads of feed for them after the first blow.

first proper session this weekend for me, if the sea fails to get away properly am heading bloody north.

if it does - staying local.
