hi all
am thinking of fishing the whitburn marks or Hendon as the ratty seems to be poor at moment, or even byth pier if it is any good.
I have 100 fresh lug to use on sunday so am hoping for a place with plenty of bites.
info on the areas would be nice.
rigs and bait catching in areas also a big help.

cheers mike
tight lines

Alright mate I would avoid hendon as it will be busy with the comp being on. I would fish shields pier Marsden beach all seem to be producing plenty of fish

cheers lads going to do shields pier.

what time does it open or can you just climb round gates ?

where is best to park as carpark will not be open when I get there at 4am

Caught lots of small (all undersize, but good sport) codling and sized flounder off small shields beach the other night, low water, flapper rig, frozen lug.

Park in same place as for the pier.

thinking about popping down there now actually - do I start on the broon (4 bottles £5 in tescos!) or go out fishing???
