I\'ve just added the 1st entry in the \"Sunderland\" area of the \"Charter Boats\" section.

Info on any other charters operating from the Wear would be greatly appreciated.
 
Every year seems to see less charter boats or more of them taking out bird watchers,divers etc than anglers. This is good for the provate boats but not the best for our sport.If they ever get that total cod ban sorted i bet we will never see the charter boats again :(

I\'m pretty familiar with most boats out of Sunderland and think the Delta Barbara is the only Charter Boat. There was another boat by the name of Blue Dawn that carried a charter advertisement whilst in the dock but that now rests on the sea bed following an incident back earlier in the year. Hope to fish over it next summer!!

CATCH 22 (catch 22 charters)

RED 5
all located in sunderland marina and as far as i am aware they are the only lisencd boats in sunderland

ps. the deltabarbra was sold some time ago and the blue dawn sank some years ago.
 
Hi all, Skipper is correct there are only three coded (licensed and insured) charter boats in Sunderland Marina namely Serenity, Catch 22 and Red5. Contact details for Red5:

Thanks for the information lads. I keep a book with all charter boats info, Boat name, contact number, Skipper, etc. I like to keep it up to date so information from you guys always comes in handy.

you should get some adverts into the tackle shops mate,also once you start catching put your reports into sam harris(evening chronicle)

True the Deltabarbra now belongs to a friend of mine and it is not a charter boat.

well mate if you ask her she"ll make you a canny cup coffee or tea and she mite even cook some thing for you while you wrecking she"s the skipper"s mate, sapph does 16 nts but i keep her at 12nts i don"t fish wrecks with other boats on, i fish wrecks with fish on,,
