South Shields pier(up to and included) to Seaham North Pier(not including pier itself which is out of bounds)And So far up both banks of the river wear

The problem with shields pier is that it closes before the comp ends and therefore isn't a public area so it could be out of bounds after it shuts.....dunno how this will work?

Been here before have nt we,I would think gates will be locked early with dark nights now,it will be dark 4.30pm around about and gates locked.To me then its out of bounds,with a 6.00pm finish, some of the organisors want to clarify this problem with a ruling before competition day.

Popped in Rutherfords yesterday and was told Roker pier will definitely be in, and the ruling on SSP will be that everyone has to be off before the gates are locked. Just passing on what I was told. Hope this is helpful info.

Jimmy the welcome is still open spoke to Jeff today,as I said he only opens
