Having learned by mistake. Two things I would say when buying a flotation suit. First, make sure all zips are preferably nylon. Metal zips will and do corrode. Secondly, the suits rely on closed cell foam for flotatation, and much of their long term waterproofing. Have a feel, if you can, to see how far down the legs and arms the foam comes. I bought one where it came down the legs to just above the knee. After a little while I started to get wet lower legs. Waterproofing the legs is no use, as water can come in anywhere on the suit, run down the foam inner, and fill up your boots. It wasn't a Sunbridge though.
