Fished Hendon Prom for 4 hours yesterday 3 up 1 down at the far end blocks using two rods with Lug, Rag and odd bits of Bluey. One was a 2 hook flapper set up and was a 2 hook wishbone bling rig. It was a race to see if I could use the Lug before they went to complete mush in the heat ! Weird to think that it was less than 2 months ago I was freezing ny n*$ts off fishing the same place.
Anyhow fishing was dire (but sunny
). The water was flat but still fairly dirty. I had 2 knocks all day which resulted in 2 fish, one 6 inch Codling and one 6 inch Flounder. Fished the same place about 2 weeks ago and was getting knocks constantly on both rods but all small fish. Now the small fish seem to have gone too !
