fished sweethope mon. excellent sport mainley on black buzzer with fluro orange cheeks. small wets also took some fish for other anglers. its stuffed with quality fish especially hard fighting blues. stay on the shore, you dont need a boat. can reccomend it!

Seems like you had an excellant day Gordon, were you fishing the large Loch or the small Loch?
They reckon the large lake has been stocked with loads of Brownies.

The big loch has been stocked with browns , but they must be returned as with the browns in the little loch.

fished both lakes, smaller lake had some quality blues in it, large lake had a stocking of browns but still loads of rainbows in . fish showing everywhere and on a still evening the rises are fantastic, but sometimes frustrating! when i fish the large lake i cross the bridge and fish about200yds on the left side near the opening. buzzers did the trick for me, but its worth trying a gold bead green montana nymph.
