Anyone see the news on the web last night ? Apparently a Swordfish was caught off Whitburn, here chasing the Mackerel! There is a picture of it outside Latimers. Should see Robson Green strapped into a big game boat off Roker any time now I reckon

wasn't there a tuna caught around there around this time last year?

Two years ago I think , got picture of it somewhere , the lad hung a spinner out it mouth trying to say it was caught on rod n line

been tuna this year and last in nets of railend shields pier,bonito last year and I heard few small yellowfin this year,not 100% about the yellowfin but bonito was defo,landed at the fish quay,3-4lb stamp
