It is open but don't know what times and yeah it's right near the walkway just near the college training centre mate

sounds like a very handy and local shop for lads fishing that area any directions to where it is

yeh av just rang the guy on 07599384166 he says hes just next to the survival centre down at south shields on the bank of the river

i went down to taylors tackle on sunday about 3 o clock got sum cracking lug worm and fresh crab the shop is open from half 8 till late at night the lads sum times dont leave till 8 so its mint if you are running late

I went for the first time today. Quality worms, will definitely use again.
Really handy if you are fishing the Walkway, you can walk there in no time.

yeh i used it today for first time not be my last bait was spot on well handy if you get the metro as well as its less than 10mins walk away n on way t walkway /groyne

I find that his grading of crab into prices is very fair to us anglers most shops just charge the same for any bait plus if yas fish anywhere near mars den or Whitburn the is a bait shop at the horsley hil a & s tackle seem a good bunch of lads
