Tackle Shops South Shields?

are there any tackle shops near to shields pier?, im planning on traveling from gateshead to shields on the metro tomorrow and looking for a tackle shop close to south shields metro station, i know about reel sport but its a bit of a hike for me as i dont know the area, thanks to anyone who can help

might be worth gettin off metro the stop before shields,(chichester)reel sport just up the street then hop back on metro

just read ya post properly didnt relies you were on foot, yeah its a bit of a walk. you could get off the metro at Chichester and quickly pop to reelsport and jump back on the metro, reelsport is just a little walk up the street from chi metro

Why not go to frazers first, then yev got a straight run to S/S pier via shields metro station

fraisers is a 10/15 min walk from metro interchange taylours from the metro at shields is a 2 min walk away but then its a 45 min walk with your gear to the end of the pier trust me av done it enough times

not realy mate it's about a mile away so yer best just going straight down shields and as said jump off at chi and go to reelsport then back on and down to shields

You could get the bus to Annfield Plane and nip into AMH Angling then get the bus back down to the nearest Metro, at least you wont have to stop anywhere in Gateshead or South Tyneside to look for tackle shops? ??
