north side of the tyne, but wouldnt really want to go into newcastle.. i would of thought newbiggin fishing shop would be open early as the newbiggin open is on.. but am not sure it would have bait?
If your fishing down near North Sheilds mate, I'd deffo go to Billy's. He'll be open and as a rule his bait is top draw. Talked to a lad today who went this morning and he said the lug was about 12in long and as thick as ya thumb.
You wouldn't really, but my mate got some yesterday and went on the end of s/s peir.
He had a cracking day, catching pouting, coalies and codling. So there you have it. Just goes to show that if you try something different, it just might work.
