It might be worth posting back here if he is open lads, I passed last Thursday and there were a lot of police in the yard and they turned me away. I walked past last night and the sign for the bait shop was gone, no idea if the shop is still open though

To everyone who wants to know, taylors fishing shop is still open and has never been closed.It is open from 9am till 6pm,sometimes later on monday to saturday and we are open from 10am on a sunday.We will have fresh peeler crab in from sunday. For anyone with any queries, please contact the shop on 01914568799.

with regards to slandering comment to all my customers on here ... the police were here for the boat club not fishing shop .... u should ring us direct rather than the way u have done this u have lost us some cutom many thanks pete ........

The sign wasn't up when I passed, I also said I don't know if the shop was open or not. It's a public forum mate for discussion which is what has gone on and I am glad people have phoned you to ask if you are open that is what this thread is about, no.

I still don't see how I have lost you custom it is a ridiculous claim.

When I was there mate they had 3 sizes and the cost was 50p, 70p and 90p I think. I just got the small ones at 50p a shot but they were well ok for a 2/0hook.

ah dinna ken much about crabs(im not unhappy to say) but "sizing them" them and pricing accordingly seems like a very good idea to me
