Terminal tackle

I make my own, you only need crimps, beads, swivels, and amnesia line along with either shock leader or 60lb line, and fast links or weight clips

I'll have a look on eBay cheers mate

Avoid non named gear on ebay from my experience its cheap as it crap cheap metal poorly made tackle shop all day even know a few people who bough sakuma of ebay and they were fakes i bought a load of flatty hooks of ebay had all the banter chemically sharpened tough metal the black paint came off when baiting up and snapped like a match stick

your local tackle shop

Totally agree, the more on line purchases you make its another nail in your local tackle shops coffin.
Always buy you tackle local cos once theyve gone where dose your fresh bait come from?
You might save a few quid on certain things but just think of it long term

but don't most local tackle dealers sell online ?

so I use £6 worth of petrol going to a tackle shop for something for eg , £1 . when I can use ebay freepost and goods are cheaper anyways , or should I spend £20 at the shop to make my £6 worth of fuel worthwhile . ?? saying people should buy terminal tackle so we can have bait , is like buying shoe laces from a shoe shop so we can have a shoe supply .

I always buy my baits local , were talking about the terminal tackle here .I do buy things I might need whilst im there also and As for reports , over time you get to ignore them ;)

I find you never need to just buy something for a £1 as for ebay theres more copys on there than you can shake a stick at I want confidence in my end tackle and will only use tackle shops or online companies like veals if my local shop hasn't got what im after in stock. If you want to buy cheap go for ebay and face the chance of losing what could be a once in a lifetime fish.

I can see your point here to mate. The online prices are going down and shop prices going up. I use my local tackle shop all the time for terminal tackle or veals for hooks. I just think they could get a bit closer in prices with the larger items. As for not having fresh bait there is always bait diggers. Mind therey are very unreliable as most want there money and worm collected the second they get home

bait elastic ??.. ive never had any problems with any of the ebay gear over the years , could be an end user issue ??

so you only buy bait elastic in 1's to be posted now to me that is just stupid, end user issue I don't think so do a search on cheap lead links snapping ect maybe your just tight and have no problem in losing a big fish when one pops along why have a £300+ rod £150 reel then put cheap line, leader along with cheap sub standard swivels and hooks on the end doesn't make sense one bit.
