It was a decent forcast so we headed out to try wrecks around 10 mile off, when we got out their the sea was nice and flat and we seemed to miss the majority of the thunderstorms that were happening further inland.
We had a bit of a slow start but things soon picked up and we had a good day out with plenty of codling and ling up to 8lb.
The only trouble was getting through the mackeral to get to the wrecks, I think I managed 3 drifts in a row without even getting on to the bottom lol.
We had a few hours out today (Sunday) aswell and did ok with the fish being a bit smaller, but had to come in early as the sea got up a bit and the drift was a pain.
