some one said the alcan is fishing does any one know if that is true and if so are there known spots that are good there please help

dont really know never fished up there can any one help as to where to fish up at the alcan

fished there a few times, canny for a few flatties,coleys etc but never seen a decent fish in maybe 20 or so visits?

If you are talking the Alan at North Blyth there are a few marks.
There is a ramp which make for easy fishing of and several spots all the way along from the ramp heading towards Cambois pier.
Best to have a look a low water as it is hard to give spot on directions to the marks.
I prefer to fish into the sandy channel between the rocks but lots of lads prefer into the rocks but you will lose lots of tackle.
I would normally fish this after dark with a good tide so you have a good depth of water and ideally in the winter with a good sea.
But i have had decent sessions in the summer.
In the same area but at low tide there are some goodsummer marks off the rocks.
