not much colour in the water around noses point area the day so headed further up the beach where the water was dirty.

a strong wind in the face and was difficult to get a 6oz out.

tried 7oz grippers and small crab baits which seemed to work.

coalies came on before high water on the flood which were good sport, all returned.

just after high water got a slack liner. another stumpy cod, had a few of these this year. not a bad few hours out.

Well Dean i am surprised that the water there is pretty clear as its generally murky and dirty and that cod does/nt look very appetising and i have fished there pretty often and had some great results there but there again you hav/nt done to bad m8 at least you did/nt blank so well done to you m8.

nice report, where is the blast beach? is it immediately south of Seaham with parking on top of the cliffs?
