fished the amble open tday at the block on lynmouth had perfect lug n rag yet couldnt buy a bite dunno what was doing wrong cos looked perfect didnt realise how much kelp there was down over low water any ideas any 1

kelp everywhere today m8. i fished marsden and had a hell of a job looking after my rod, lost 5 sets of gear and it isnt even that snaggy, just couldnt get it back in

I think its been a combo of heavy seas ripping them out but also the big tides dragging all of the crap from the high water marks

i fished the stone steps at marsden over high water ,the weed was realy bad met jarraviking down there had a good bit of crack , i had a coalie under a pound it looked perfect aswel nice sea dropping off jus nothing there ,still got out and enjoyed the crack ,its a small world
