A good day today, I chucked shiny metal about, I chucked really bright rubber jelly thingymyjigs about and even tried chucking some bait about and wahay!, all caught fish.

A few peelers attracted some nice Ballan Wrasse that were of specimen size for Scotland..........

A lovely coloured Wrasse

I then got the rubber and shiny metal out .............result, a couple of Pollack and a few small Coalies.

I tried these new lures out today, a very bright luminous green that cost pennies to buy but worked really well for these fish.

A nice Codling on a spinner was a surprise and it gave a good account of itself in the deep water.

As the Codling were about I chucked a peeler crab bait out and hey presto this fish took my offering in a moment.

There were plenty of fish to be caught with some nice hard fighting specimens among them
