me and tim [torsking ] out in the middle of winter :D:D:D
wasnt that cold didnt even need gloves it was that warm
fished around the can for a hour or so nothing so moved further out about 2 miles near some lobster pots fished anouther hour still nothing then moved closer inshore but we both blanked
had a couple of seals follow us in one was that close it was nearly climbing on our yaks :) dont no why it wouldnt of been able to smell any fish :eek: had a great morning out

camera batteries died after taking 1 pic so sorry no more camera must not like the cold :D jeff

ps it was perfect weather thought it would of fished well as the water was pretty clear at the can and further out

Better luck next time; at least you managed to get out and make the most of the day. Have you seen Poggies, they can be good for keeping your hands warm when winter paddling, they’re better than neoprene diver's gloves. Some of the lads I paddle rivers and surfed with in the winter swore by household marigold gloves if you’re looking for an alternative when it turns cold.
 
thought they would have been lots of fish after the sea we have had its a funny old game this fishing lark

yep marigolds is the boys:)the ones with a bit of cotton lining.i work in what can be quite a harsh enviroment fom time to time:( and have just started using them:) they dont last too long and are a bit xpensive at £1.57 a pair in asda:( but thats better than cold paws:)
