As Uk citizens, we can criticize what goes on around the other side of the world, but if we look only a few hundred miles North, this occurs in the Faroes.

As far as action goes, I admire environmental groups for highlighting the issues, but I think if they want to create change, the best method would be to hit these countries where it hurts....Their economies....Simple....don't buy anything Japanese!.....Would be pretty hard for us with our Japanese cars, phones, tv's, mp3 players....in fact almost all electrical items. If we did manage to do it though we'd at least have the opportunity to create more british jobs through a new manufacturing base.
