Hmm plenty cod I have not had mate, although I have fished new places like the north hole at Cambois beach, lost a good Un at my feet at doctors house and had a few fish amounst Newbiggin comps but nothing worth reporting.

wouldn't fish the hole with the sea away, but every1 has their own preferences.
there`s always been good fish caught from the beach aswell, roker rocks used to be a hot spot for me, just my opinion mind, am not an expert.

that`s the spot, if you park at the top of the street, little car park, follow the footpath parallel to the train line you come to a tiny underpass under the line, this will bring you to the beach, you can see the roker`s, it`s weird having such a big rock all on it`s own on such a big beach.
anyway, many cod, all flatfish and bass from there,
there was a massive 20 pounder a few year ago, think it was posted on nesa.

never heard nowt, was on shift`s, but after the sea we've had it wouldn't surprise me, blyth pier has been fishing well also, from what I`ve been told.
