previous to todays sesion i had 2 small codling from here 3 weeks ago, they were about 6 ". but i was over the moon because i had blanked for 6 weeks.
since then ive blanked for about 3 weeks.
decided to head over there, it was low water at 2:30pm....
thought id be feeding the crabs or chukin rigs away for the sake of it...
anyway i had met up with russ who i swaped one of my reels to for his carp rod.
he brung good look, soon as he arrived my rod went, bringing it in was heavy, got to the surface & it was a black bag, thought ffs then he seen a little fishy under it, codling, very small, 6" but im over the moon cause i havnt blanked.
then we were talking, he spots my rod going, i seen it, but left it, and again it went so i struk and reeled in a bit but felt nothing...
he left and my rod went again so brung it in, small codling about the same size as the last, 6"
very small fish, but i was a very happy man broke my 3 week blank
