driving north on the a19,about half a mile before testos roundabout,at roughly 05 10 lo and behold a dead hare and 10 yards further on a dead magpie:exclam::exclam:

i was in no hurry so parked up safely and had an inspection of the deceased, both bodies still warm no sign of injury to the hare and the magpie appeared to have a broken neck:confused:

strange indeed.:exclam:

afore anyone asks yes it was a hare:exclam:spent a lot of time with hares blue ones white ones and broon ones when i was younger,(then progressing on to pubic hares:o as i got older:)

pmsl, strange finding both dead so close together

i recon the hare got ran over and broke its next then the magpie came down for some easy food but the hare wasnt quiet dead and it twitched its back leg hitting the magpie in the head (breaking its neck) and sending it flying 10ft away :D

i think it might of been the hare was on south side and magpies on north side where the tyne and wear border line is and yes the magpies had stepped over the line and got kicked back down carnt explain the hare though probs died with laffing :D

WELL:exclam: reluctant as i am to put it forward,i did have a personal theory:confused:
the hare was asleep in the grass with its backend pointing toward the wind.
the magpie was flying into the wind, got too close to the hare which gave it a good whack with is hind legs(they are very poweful) and broke its neck.

the magpie landed on the road, the hare went to inspect the damage to the bird and got run over:confused:

so what do we call it.cant be a lady.bird as lady is female and bird is slang for female.

kingcod deano lol it must have deffo been a lady boy bet it was in bangkok
