Hi Lads, Had a day off today and decided to go and clean the boat with a spot of fishing thrown in. Never been out on my own before but decided to give it a go since my mate Big Tel had to work Set off about 10.30 and did an inshore wreck and blanked. Tried the ground we did last weekend and blanked. So dug into the archives on the plotter and picked a mark we call Lucky 13. Ended up with 9 codling biggest about 3 1/2 lb all caught on hokeyes and pirks, no bait, with red muppets. Only 2 fish took the hokeyes the rest took the pirk. Also lost one off about 6-8lb trying to get it aboard without the net Called it a day at 3.00 as the wind picked up.. Get out there this weekend lads i think that time of year is here.

Cracking haul of fish Chris,, i'm sure they heard the swearing on the shore when you lost the big one great to hear that lures are starting to catch, it'll save my poor old aching back digging worms. Good to chat at marina yesterday.
