With light winds and the chop disappearing, i decided to have a couple of hours on a wreck....Clad in shorts and t-shirt, sun shining and expectations not high due to big tides, it started chucking it down within 20 mins of fishing... soaked...:D

Things picked up steadily and i ended up with 3 cod and 1 mackerel....the macky seem to be thinning out now, not even showing above the wreck..:(

It was good to get out though, a weeks holiday half done and one trip out under my belt.....should have had last week off....:D

Mark, look at 15.07.2013 report....same shorts....different t-shirt..:D:D

Good luck Allan, might see you down there, the decorating must be finished then...:D;)

Just jealous Chris. Lynn and I are in the theatre all this week with teenagers doing a musical theatre school!

So want to get out fishing!

Well done. We were out at Craster today and I put my rockhopper boots on. Thought my feet were going to explode with the heat. One shower on morning which went as fast as it came. We had quite a few Macky up here at Craster.
Mick.
