Was as expected a win for Sunderland and a poor stop start derby match.
I feel we will go down this year if we dont get sold before December as i cant see us picking up many more points than when Sunderland went down them many times lol

as Andy Gray said N*wcas*le are a workman-like team but Sunderland have something a little bit special!! If the mags do not improve very quickly they WILL go down and lets be realistic even at this stage of the season they are already in a relegation scrap. Football is all about opinions, the bookies however are seldom wrong thats why there bookies and the odds on newc going down are shortening all the time, we shall see.

Just have a look at the table, there's 6 points between the 2 teams - thats 2 games!!
in 2 games the position could be totally reversed, and we know how fond of relegation struggles sunderland are

Mark Last season Newcastle only secured there premier league status one week ahead of Sunderland, so newcastle were just as much in a relegation struggle last season as we were.
I honestly can see Newcastle struggling this season whether only a few games have gone or not, most of there better players are injured, Owen will be sold in january, as they wont risk losing him on a free come the end of the season, and Newcastle Defence is laughable, but hasnt it always been?
Will be funny to see how many players will want to come to newcastle, when the manager doesnt know how long he is going to be there, the chairman is trying to sell a poor football club for 5 trillion pounds. Im glad this is all happening as there hasnt been a good comedy on the TV since only fools and horses.
Long may it continue.
