The middens, North Shields

Hi lads, quick query Bout marks around North Shields. I use to fish the small beachy bit at the end of the fish quay with my dad as a youngster and used to catch plenty of flatties etc through the summer on a flooding tide. Can anyone tell me any other marks in that general area? Mainly for summer fishing as I'm looking for an easy accessible mark for my nephew and dad who struggles to walk too far these days (to much whiskey and chocolate haha) cheers in advance

anywere on the tyne if your struggling for some were to fish most places jst fish from the car no walking needed up next to walker hope that helps

Cheers David, will have a look when we head down. Wallsendfisherman, got marks coming out of my ears for fishing both of the rivers mate, was just fancying somewhere different around North Shields as its an area I've nt fished in a long old time! Guess it will be a suck it and see!! Fingers crossed there will be a few fish about
