arrived at 11am,talked to a couple of lads who had pulled out a couple of 2 pounders.

fished for 4 hours,float spinner, jellys worked shallow and deep,feathered and bottom fished,only bait we had was some cracking rag from fishing rep.but to no avail.

a couple of other fishers arrived,they pulled out some mackarel.

its 10 years to the day since i last put a line in the water,off roker pier,result was the same.

guess im just not a shore fisherman,and yes i know;i cant expect to turn up once every ten years and massacre them.

You should have been there earlier in the season mate. When they are not on the verge of leaving Dunstanborough is a 2 up 2 down mark. so it might have just been bad timing

still enjoyed the walk up there,the bit craic we had with the other lads already there,and the company of the 4 seals that hung around all day

aye it wasnt too bad lug,meself and mel do a lot of walking,left on friday morning,made it as far as qe2 anear ashington,stayed b/b at travellodge there.sat just got as far as amble,just kipped on the boat(warlord)sat night,then up at the crack o sparrows(about 1hr before dawn) and arrived at dunstanburgh about 11. it was bliss getting a lift back though
