Fished both spots last night, started at Slatey and got a few bites. Landed 2 coalies around a pound each, both returned. Moved on to the pipe at Whitley and again had bites but unfortunately no fish. Huge tide! apparrently the biggest in ten years! Spoke to a couple of lads fishing the Sumps at Seaton Sluice and they'd had a few little codling and were getting plenty of bites. It was like an ice rink down there, slipping all over the joint - bit dangerous for my liking! Take care if you head there!
Been on google earth this evening, you can get a look at all the gulleys and marks around the north east, well worth a look!
