There were four or five on Roker pier last night,saw two lights on the round head can you believe it after what happened on Saturday

The slab at the start of SS pier is fishable at the minute, fairly safe too. Sheltered behind the Brigade hut or the Italian in the corner. Wind at your back then shelter behind the buildings. Just fished it for a few hours, caught nowt though ! Fished it yesterday as well but caught nowt then either so moved to the Walkway to break the blank with an undersized codling.

I wouldnt want to be on a cliff in this. A sheltered bay such as cullercoats harbour at low water maybe. Even then it could be too big.

just been down to the harbour, had 2 chucks would have stayed longer but, the lad i was with had to go. So didnt feel to happy stay on me own and it was just a tad on the windy side.

Don't think its that people don't wont to fish its more of the fact its to dangerous to fish most marks.

if you know your mark and are carefull and respect the sea you will be ok
