I know we now have the webcams covering the \"sea state\" section for the Tyne area, but I was down along the coast thismorning at 11:00 (for work) and got this photo of Target Rock........

looks good TC nice bit of sun creeping in to warm you up ,tony how high is target rock just for scale as ive never been there

Nice day Tony. Can see St George\'s in the distance. Any chance of a photo of Friday night\'s sea.... or even Saturdays (planning a double header but don\'t tell the wife lol)

Yep, I\'ll nip out Friday morning / lunch time, David.

Aye, lovelly sunny day today (TOO bright, really) and very clear - but there was still frost on the ground at 11:00am .............bit nippy ......lol

Forgot to ask when I posted the pic........

Are you all happy with just using the webcams, or would you prefer me to do the \"sea state\" photos again with details of tide times and wind direction?

Can\'t guarantee thet there\'d be any \"regularity\" about the the photos, but I guess the webcams could serve as a back-up.

EDIT:
Sorry Ollie, but I\'m not sure of the height - I\'ll see if I can find out at work tomorrow ;)

TC, it would be great if you could start it again. I go to work in darkness and get home in darkness, so the webcam is no good for me :(

Davy webcam2 is ok - its still showing whitly bay in TOTAL sunshine , looks like a summers Day LOL :D :D

Just keep using that one , you might look a bit daft turning up with a daiwa whisker and a few spinners in the depths of December though ;) ;)

when i saw that photo i got a lump in my throat and a tear in my eye

Tony, I will try and think on and take my camera with me when I go through to collect my bait and will take 1 or 2 from north of the Tyne also mate.
