its the shields open next sunday and ive heard loads of reports about the north arm
is that the rock between the knuckle and target
can anyone tell me the best times to fish this venue
e.g big tides big seas
northerly southerly
from what ive heard everybody wants to go there next sunday

I believe its the north side of frenchmans bay, quite deep water with lots of thick kelp beds to hold the cod in,youre quite right there is a good chance of a big cod coming out of them kelp beds in the open.A lad called grunty i think his name was, had a canny fish from there last year in the open but very few people seem to fish that area as its a bit of a walk from the car park.

You\'re right sless, especially if you are a bit of a short arse.
listening to a lad in a tackle shop yesterday he is going to be fishing there this week, he was going to take a plank of wood down and hide it for open. He has been getting some good catches of there in the last few weeks, but what keeps him going back is the bite he got when he fished it for the first time this year, he said it was a monster, it nearly took his rod in, he had it on and was reeling in but got hung up and then lost it.

and target :casstet:

The Target\'s at Ryhope. Follow the lane down to the beach opposite the Toll Bar pub. As you reach the beach, you\'ll see a big rock to the far left of you - thats Target rock.

being local your dead right,it will fish its nuts off on the flood.you need frozen crab, but take your hiking boots to jump the gap in case its wet!!!!
