well fished the slab from roughly half 11 till half 1 not a single bite so i thought i would move up the river so i did upto the call centre first cast ended up with a decent sized coalie plenty of bites could not connect to them so i ended up with the one bait used rag lug and mackeral so first fish of the new year packed up at 5

Need to get oot myself, getting a fever due to lack of fishing, so when a get me new rod, gonna have a few practice casts with it on sunday, then get stuck into the NESA match next saturday and add my hopefully 'good weight off fish' contribution to my fellow south team to rack up the big weight!!

The NESA match is on the 21st January, fishing from 7pm till 10.30pm. Its a free 'get-together' match, but there is an optional £5v sweep for that xtra bit competition.
