The slab 4th Dec

Fished the slab on Sunday from 4.15 - 7.45 Mate turned up about 5.30 We only had 2 whiting which i got in the first hour. Bait used was rag, lug, squid and macky. Spoke to a few lads who were leaving from the end and the only mention of codling was 1 caught in the afternoon about 2 1/2 pound. The wind was howling and bloody freezing by the time we left.
Still got plenty of bait left so going to try to get out later today for a few hours and try to hook that elusive cod.

Just had a look down Whitley Bay and there is a canny sea running so thats where the rest of my bait will end up about 3.30 today. Hopefully i will get a codling in exchange for it:exclam::exclam::exclam:
