well got up this morning and decided to go a fish the pier what a laugh that was did not get nothing for two hours s decided i would move upto codgers corner well when i got there set up and cast out my first rod as i was setting up my second rod i seen a ite so reeled in my first fish a decent sized coalie so baited back up on both rods a whacked both of them out and with in minutes bites on both rods this was the pattern for much off the afternoon finally packed up at half 5 with 3 sized coalies and 5 sized whiting all to about 9lb took them home and they will do for some fish cakes so in all a good day fishing bait used lug and mackeral

aye could not believe it think i m ight fish there a few more times but who knows maybe i will wanderagain on about going and fishing the heugh in hartlepool 2morrow night

it is just down from the shields ferry landing nice comfy place to fish not much current taking your line about. if not sure just ask somebody and they will give you pin point directions.
